Baby Brody was born at 4:01 am. 8 and a half pounds, 20.5 inches. Huge hands and feet, and I got to touch an umbilical cord. Yeuch. And if I spelled umbilical wrong, suck it. I’m working on less sleep than the new mom is :) Though I obviously didn’t do as much as she did.
He’s handsome amd beautiful and healthy and finally here.
Yup, listening to sister-in-law screaming thru what is at this point the last minutes of her pregnancy and I am now perfectly okay with never having my own. FUCK THAT. She sounds like she’s being tortured!
So my sister-in-law is “leaking” amniotic fluid, so we’re heading out of town to hopefully greet Brody as he enters the world, sometime in the next couple of days.
