One of the main reasons I was so stoked on moving up here: I finally have a good reason to have a 4X4!!! One of only two (I believe) beaches in Cali where you’re allowed to drive out there.

And yes, I do in fact drive a bright yellow truck. Some may know me well enough to know how appropriate that is. Others, believe me when i say how everyone I know thinks it’s perfect I drive something pretty much impossible to miss :)

It was almost high tide, and it was getting me excited for what the view will be like when winter comes and the Pac West is getting slammed. God I’ve missed the coast.

And that’s one of the MANY Victorians in town. This one is also one of the more beautifully restored, and unfortunately privately owned so one can’t get a tour or even just poke around a little. It’s right on the bay, and the details are stunning.

I’m SO HAPPY to be here. Even if the ocean breeze coming through my window at the moment is rather chilly. But I don’t care. I don’t have that many pairs of shorts, and I prefer wearing jeans anyway :)

Soon I might even post a couple of pics of my studio, which is so cool and I’m so just content here. Even if I’m going back to the Lake for the weekend for Father’s Day and hopefully get some jet ski time on the water. All of this after I hopefully sleep a good 8 or more hours tonight. *yawn*
